With nine years of experience in both internal talent management and external recruitment, Steve brings a well rounded perspective to hiring, shaped not just behind a desk but also out in the field.
Steve’s career includes leading talent acquisition across New South Wales, Queensland and the ACT for Tier 2 builder Hansen Yuncken. He also spent over six years in agency recruitment, where he built a strong network and a reputation for delivering results across white-collar roles.

Dan Copping is the Co-founder of Common Good Partners, a recruitment consultancy dedicated to reshaping how talent is connected within Australia’s construction sector. With over a decade of experience in construction recruitment, Dan has led national hiring strategies, built high performing project teams, and developed long standing partnerships with some of the Australia’s leading construction organisations.
Driven by a belief that recruitment should be about more than just transactions, Dan established Common Good Partners to focus on relationships, integrity, and outcomes that benefit everyone for the common good. His deep industry knowledge, combined with a people-first approach, ensures that every placement is a strategic fit, not just a quick fix.

Originally from Cork, Ireland, Eoin began his recruitment career working across the Irish construction market before relocating to Sydney to join Common Good. That international experience gives him a strong perspective on how different markets operate, but more importantly, what good looks like regardless of location.
He works closely with both clients and candidates to identify, engage and qualify high-quality talent, with a particular focus on project delivery roles across commercial construction and fitout. Eoin is known for his attention to detail, consistency, and ability to build genuine relationships early, not just when there’s a role on the table.
What sets Eoin apart is his approach. He takes the time to properly understand what both sides are looking for and does the groundwork to ensure alignment before a CV is ever sent. No noise, no guesswork, just well-considered introductions.
Since joining Common Good, he’s quickly become a key part of the team’s growth, bringing sharp thinking, strong values and a genuine interest in doing recruitment properly.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find him making the most of Sydney life, which, by his own admission, is a slight upgrade on a five-minute drive through Cork.
