Site Manager – $55M Mixed-Use Development | Builder

About the Opportunity

We are currently partnered with a well-established commercial builder with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality mixed-use developments across NSW.

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join the team on a landmark $55M project located in Nowra NSW, featuring residential apartments above ground-floor retail and commercial space.

This is a key leadership role on a major regional development with a strong pipeline of secured future work.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

You will work closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, consultants, and site teams to coordinate all construction activities and drive program performance.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily site operations and construction activities
Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works align with program requirements
Maintain strict WHS compliance and promote a strong safety culture
Monitor progress and report updates to the Project Manager
Manage site logistics, sequencing, and deliveries
Ensure quality control and defect minimisation
Conduct daily coordination meetings and toolbox talks
Proactively resolve site issues to maintain momentum

About You

Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial or mixed-use projects ($20M+ desirable)
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site coordination
Solid knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance requirements
Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
Ability to interpret drawings, schedules, and construction documentation
Trade background or tertiary qualification in Construction Management (preferred)
Strong communication and problem-solving ability
